The Nike Sales Dashboard provides a visual summary of key sales performance metrics across different dimensions such as time, region, retailer, city, and sales method.

The dataset used in the project is from kaggle : https://www.kaggle.com/datasets/viditgupta7/power-bi-sales-analysis-dashboard-for-nike-us

Note: This dashboard is for educational purpose only. The details give in the dashboard are as per the dataset available on kaggle file and may not represent actual numbers.

Here’s a breakdown of each section:


Top Summary KPIs

  • Operating Profit: 256M
  • Units Sold: 2M
  • Average Operating Margin: 0.25

These three cards give a high-level overview of Nike’s total sales performance during the selected date range.


Filters

  • Region: Allows filtering by geographic regions (Midwest, Northeast, South, Southeast, West).
  • Invoice Date: Date range filter (from 01-01-2020 to 22-09-2021).
  • Sales Method: Filter by In-store, Online, or Outlet.
  • City and State: Dropdowns to filter results by location.

Time Series Chart (Bottom Left of KPIs)

Title: Num of Units Sold by Year, Quarter, Month, and Sales Method

  • A line area chart showing units sold over time, segmented by Sales Method (In-store, Online, Outlet).
  • Clear spike in sales post Jan 2021.

Donut Chart – Retailer ID

Title: Total Units Sold by Retailer ID

  • Displays sales distribution between two major retailer IDs:
    • Retailer 1185732: 963K (48.83%)
    • Retailer 1182899: 500K (25.36%)
    • Other smaller segments are also shown.

Donut Chart – Region

Title: Total Units Sold by Region

  • Sales breakdown by region:
    • West: 576K (29.19%)
    • South: 390K (19.78%)
    • Northeast, Midwest, Southeast each contribute smaller but significant portions.

Bar Chart – City

  • Some cities like New York and Chicago show strong operating profits and sales.
